A Major Insurance Company had a need to migrate
all servers and infrastructure from five existing data centers in Mesa, Arizona,
Irvine, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Redwood City, California, to a centralized
facility in the greater Phoenix metro area.
The new
data center will initially host their Disaster Recovery, Development and Testing
environments; however, services may be expanded to support production applications
in either an Active-Passive or Active-Active data center mode. The
new Phoenix data center environment includes consolidated, redundant networks,
virtualized systems, scalable, efficient power and cooling capabilities as well
as standardized hardware and OS configuration.
